The buying guide is the foundation of this section. It explains weight classes, camera specifications, safety features and UK regulations in full, and every other drone page on the site links back to it.
How to choose the right drone: weight classes, cameras, safety features, batteries and the UK rules, in full.
Seven aircraft, seven awards, from entry models to professional. The page to read once you have decided to buy.
Six aircraft compared for first-time buyers, with manufacturer figures and honest trade-offs.
Cards, batteries, filters and cases, including what a new drone owner actually needs.

How we work

What you can expect from this section

We have not flown these drones
Every specification on this site is the manufacturer’s own published figure, labelled as such and dated. We do not present anyone else’s measurements as our own.
No paid placements
Nothing appears on a shortlist because someone paid for it. Some links are commercial and that never affects what we recommend or in what order.
No exact prices
Drone pricing moves faster than we can verify it, so we publish dated bands and send you to the retailer for the current figure.
Regulations link to the source
UK rules changed on 1 January 2026 and continue to change. We summarise and link to the CAA rather than paraphrasing rules that may move.
